Glad to know that our applicants appreciate the time and energy we spend with them! Hopefully we can find this gal a great opportunity.

Very touching note...

"Hi there,

I was just registering to take the SPHR certification exam and had to enter in all my previous work experience. Since my career started with you, it provoked me to pop over to your website and see how things were going.

It was frightening to see that article from the Post-Dispatch from 2008 about Staffing Solutions hitting rock bottom – I hope you’re starting to pull through. It put me in a bit of a reflective mode though....we all know how much things can change in a short time!

One of things we teach at my current company – Aviva (5th largest insurance group in the world) – is about dealing with Adversity. I’ve dealt with my fair share, with more to come down the road. And it sounds like you’re facing some (as we would say) stormy weather on the mountain.

Just wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for all your help and support 4 ½ years ago. I left graduate school before completing my Ph.D., feeling like my life was not going in the right direction, that a change was needed. There were a couple months there where I wasn’t sure I was going to make it – job prospects were not exactly forth-coming.

It was only when I established a relationship with Staffing Solutions that I finally got connected to some opportunities in the working work – and after one or two little assignments, I got offered a temp job. Who would have thought that would have been the launching point for a successful (knock on wood!) career.

Just a couple weeks ago, I took on a new role ...big challenging stuff!

But, it all started 4 ½ years ago with that data entry job. When I took that role, I moved pretty quickly to take on additional responsibility wherever I could. You were there to advocate for me and positioned me for a pay increase and re-alignment of the role.

Later on, as my efforts to push for a permanent position came to fruition, you were great cheerleaders for me personally.

So, thank you again, for everything. I know you have many other success stories. But, know that working with you made an impact on me – and I won’t soon forget it.

Good luck to you – and to all the professionals you’re helping to find their way in a really, really difficult time.

"My friend was in your office this morning for testing and she said she met with you also. I just wanted to let you know that she is a good friend of mine and I referred her to Staffing Solutions because I know she would be an exemplary employee. I have worked with her in the past and know she has plenty of knowledge in the administrative field, along with great skills!

Although I have been in contact with several staffing agencies to obtain employment, I have always thought very highly of Staffing Solutions' friendly, professional office staff and told my friend that she would be doing herself a favor to get registered with your office. I know that she and I have similar administrative experience, but as Bonny mentioned in the November newsletter, employers are getting increasingly specific about candidate experience in particular areas. "
